Not a quick photo-filter re-touch...A true painting using a digital stylus and all the power of the best photo and paint tools available. I approach each painting as if I were starting from scratch in a traditional illustration. Composition, color value, contrast, mood, and clarity are all considered for the final image to elevate the photo to "a work of art." At a considerable discounted cost compared to the cost of a true completed oil or water-color portrait. Turn around time from receipt of photo to draft and final is approximately 1 week. Canvas transfer services are included in the process and pricing.
Pricing starts at $100 for an 8x10. $125 for an 11x14. $175 for a 16x20. $225 for a 20x24. All portraits on stretched canvas frames and signed by artist. Shipping costs included.

Graphic and traditional renderings of stone, past and present architecture, and a few works representing what students and faculty consider essential and central to the "Hokie Nation," and to the spirit that lives there.
